To use The Prep Tag, you must:

• Provide accurate registration and business information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of passwords, PINs and access credentials.
• Ensure only authorised staff use your organisation's account.
• Promptly notify us of any suspected unauthorised access or security incident.

You are responsible for all activity under your account, including label content, allergen data and compliance records entered by your team. The Prep Tag provides tools to support food safety workflows; operational and legal compliance remains your responsibility as the food business operator.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method for each billing period until you cancel.

• Prices are shown on our pricing page and may be updated with reasonable notice.
• Unless stated otherwise, subscription fees are non-refundable for partial billing periods.
• Failed or overdue payments may result in restricted access until the account is brought current.
• Taxes, where applicable, are calculated at checkout based on your billing location.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated at checkout.

The Prep Tag offers a 14-day free trial with full access to the platform. No credit card is required to start a trial unless stated otherwise at registration.

• One trial per organisation unless we agree otherwise in writing.
• At the end of the trial period, continued use requires an active paid subscription.
• We may modify or discontinue trial offers at any time, but changes will not retroactively shorten an active trial you have already started.
• Data entered during your trial remains subject to our Privacy Policy.

The Prep Tag is designed for commercial kitchen labelling and food safety compliance. You agree not to:

We may suspend or restrict access if we reasonably believe your use violates these Terms or poses a risk to other customers or the Service.

The Prep Tag, including its software, branding, documentation and design, is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your internal business operations during an active subscription or trial.

You retain ownership of the content and data you submit (such as menu items, allergen profiles and label configurations). You grant us a licence to host, process and display that content solely to provide and improve the Service.

Feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation or compensation.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. While we work to maintain reliable labelling, allergen formatting and audit features, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Prep Tag is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, including lost profits, food waste or regulatory penalties arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud. Final responsibility for food safety, allergen labelling and regulatory compliance rests with you as the food business operator.

You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription or closing your account through the dashboard or by contacting us.

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• You breach these Terms or applicable law.
• Payment is overdue and not resolved within a reasonable period.
• We are required to do so by law or a regulatory authority.
• We discontinue the Service, with reasonable notice where practicable.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. We may retain certain data as described in our Privacy Policy for legal, security and backup purposes.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country require otherwise.
